Andy's Friends recently received a phone call from a woman who has
been feeding a colony of feral cats that live in an industrial park by her home. This woman is very poor and has been using her meager income to feed the cats to the best of her ability, all 11 of them. The cats were reproducing at a rapid rate, which meant more mouths needed to be fed. This is when Andy's Friends got involved. They went out and trapped the cats, had them sterilized and then released them back to the colony.
The mother cat, Ruby, was trapped and had her babies at a foster home where they would be properly taken care of. Ruby gave birth to four adorable kittens, two black and two tabbys. The kittens, along with Ruby, will be socialized by the volunteers and put up for adoption when they are old enough. Andy's Friends is currently supplying the colony caretaker with food for the cats. Any donations would be greatly welcomed and appreciated! For more information, please contact us via the "contact tab."
