Our Barn Program
Our Barn Program
Dear Volunteers, Donors, Adopters and Supporters, In addition to our normal support programs of providing food and medical care, we have been working hard this past fall and winter on our new Barn Cat Mission. Most of the cats who come into our care have been taken from dangerous areas that they cannot be returned. Our goal is to provide a new, safe home to each cat - including those who like to be outside and work. So far, we have had great success with providing working cats for clearing pests and barn maintenance, with no fees to the new owner. We appreciate all of your support in either helping fund the program, or continuing to spread the word. Follow us on Facebook to continue sharing our posts ! If you or someone you know would like to participate in the program, please reach out via email to [email protected] |

How to Help During COVID-19
COVID -19 has completely changed the world for not only humans, but also their furry family members. AF has delivered tons of food, litter and supplies to low income or out of work cat owners who otherwise would have had to relinquish their pets to a shelter due to not being able to afford them.
In addition, AF has paid out over $45000. in medical care and vet fees for services for cats belonging to low income or out of work individuals to keep their cats healthy until the owners are able to resume their jobs and take back this responsibility. By helping these people keep their pets healthy and at home. This has prevented cats from being relinquished to shelters.
How can YOU help?
With the pandemic hitting families and our rescue hard right now, what we can use the most is food in our food bank. It's a versatile resource, as we can use it for our rescue mission, but also for pet owners who are in need of financial assistance. With your help, we have already brought 4000+lbs of food to families in need this year.
Please consider donating through Amazon Wishlist, by clicking "Donate" above. You may see some other things on our list in addition to food, such as large litter boxes. These are helpful too, if you would like to donate additional items.
If you can not donate through Amazon, please send us an email about dropping off donations: [email protected]

Thank You to Our Heroes!
During this time of uncertainty in the world, there is one thing we know are certain of. Andy's Friends has a long list of super heroes who save the day on a daily basis. We could never accomplish what we do without out the veterinary techinicians, doctors and office staff who support us and our mission. From Dr. Kidd and Dr. Paul staying open during COVID-19, to Aston's Veterinary's donations, to Dr. Mule's commitments to medical care, the list goes on and on. If you find yourself feeling down during these tough times, remember, we are witnesses to real life superheroes!
