These 3 cats have been waiting a long time - and they would love to come home with you. As our Sponsored Sweethearts all 6 of these cats' adoption fees will be waived if adopted before/on 2/14/19, just in time to take your sweetheart home for Valentine's Day!
HOLLY has been with us longer than any other cat - since November 28th, 2016 - OVER TWO YEARS! She marches to the beat of her own drum and needs to be the only cat - but she also appreciates a nice lap for naptime. She's a bit rounder than she was two years ago, but she's pretty darn cute between that and the heart on her nose. She enjoys affection but will let you know when she's done, so she would likely do best with someone experienced with cat ownership.
LILY has been with us since March 9th, 2018. She is a few years old and very gentle. Her fur is soft and her personality is sweet. She's a lap cat looking for a small, quiet home.
HENRY has been with us since October 21st, 2017 - over a year! His personality is almost dog-like, and he adores people. He's a gorgeous orange tabby that does have a skin allergy - but we are happy to provide a full year of his skin medication to his adopter, free of any charge.
If you're interested in any of these cats, send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out an application here.

Stories from Andy's Alumni
George was found last year on the streets of North Philadelphia, just waiting to be loved and for some food in his belly. He was adopted by a loving family, who treat George like he belonged all along, as you can see! His mom and dad shared this great picture of him patiently waiting for his holiday feast at his first Thanksgiving. He even said grace, as he has much to be grateful for. We hope that one day all kitties can be as well cared for and loved as deeply as George is!
Got a kitty question? We can help! Submit your questions below or check out some facts you never knew!
Q: Dear Andy, I love my cat, but I also love my new couch! How can I keep my kitty from scratching the furniture?
A: There are lots of things you can do to discourage scratching of furniture. You may need to try a few, because every cat responds a little bit differently! Try some of these ideas from Jackson Galaxy, and watch the video below!
1. Make sure you have scratching posts! Yes POSTS! Cats can scratch vertically, horizontally, or on an angle. Your cat may like your couch because it is providing one of these types of scratching.
2. Discourage scratching on the furniture by tightly covering the culprit spots with a sheet, foil, tape, etc. Eventually, when presented with other more fun options, your kitty will forget about their favorite spot.
3. Use a natural citrus spray on your furniture. Cats have an aversion to citrus.
4. Keep your cats nails trimmed. Cats nails should be cut about every 2-3 weeks.
